Dynamic Link Library (DLL)
A dynamic link library (DLL) is a set of small programs that can be called by larger programs running on the computer. A dynamic link library program allows the larger program to communicate with a specific device, such as a scanner or printer. This program is commonly referred as a dynamic link library file or a DLL File.
